Flotsam

October 10, 2011

Flotsam

It’s been snowing up North. Here, we still dive. The water will become too cold soon, so it’s time to make the most of it.

“Wild Island”, 30 minutes at 3,000 rpm away, always brings results. Usually in the form of awabi, or sazae, or fish, or octopus. But this time something bigger was hauled home: 30kg of Flotsam.

Drifter...

Counting the rings, this piece of driftwood is a centurion. It’s also, now, a feature. Longtime adrift, it’s found a welcome “home” of sorts, in the orchard.

Come sit awhile...

Anyway, un-believable catch ! Tell her ken says “hello ! and No hard feelings, OK?”

So YOU’RE the guy sending all the flotsam this way! Cheers, but could you lay off the hangul-inscribed slippers, please? They’re too small and appear to only come in Left. Why, K? Why???

Anyhoo, I’ll pass on your regards to the ol’ maid…

    Cheers, ;)

Ha ! My apologies on the slippers, I’ll get the rights in the water a.s.a.p.. :-) This reminds me of an old bum I once met it San Francisco. I says, “Hey Mr., looks like you’re missing a sock” He says, “Nope, I found one.”

Whoa, nice corner there for the butterfly bush. A cool thing about it, apart from its friendliness, is that it stays in flower for the better part of the year. I think the only time it’s not in flower is in Dec, Jan and Feb.

    Cheers,

Oh, great news! The budlia just gets better! It’s planted next to “Sunshine Fruits MkII”, btw, which Sluggy and Sunshine put in earlier this year. High hopes for that tree…

I like them glasses that the bum wore/wears. Hold off on the rights, K. Irranai ;)

    Half full,

Young master Sunshine was asking about Sunshine Fruits Mk ll the other day. Glad it hasn’t been blown offshore.

Sunshine Fruits Mk II is in very good company and doing well. Both the plum and the peach spars are growing evenly, still in leaf. I actually think it might be a bit confused at the mo, it wants to bud and flower – need a cold snap soon to halt this tiger…

      Cheers,

      T
